StackAdapt is an end-to-end marketing solution where ad buyers can plan, execute, and manage data-driven digital advertising campaigns across all devices, inventory, and publisher partners. Marketers globally are empowered to run programmatic advertising campaigns on all major channels including native, display, video, connected TV (CTV), audio, in-game, and digital out-of-home (DOOH).
➜ Challenge
In early 2022, StackAdapt partnered with Skilljar to enhance our education program for clients and interested marketers. Previously, our limited learning management system (LMS) presented challenges in creating a hybrid portal capable of fulfilling dual objectives.
For our client portal, the primary goal was to design an education program that would empower clients to become proficient users of the StackAdapt platform, staying current with new features and functionalities. This portal needed to support client enablement by offering a streamlined, frictionless login experience, achievable through a tightly integrated single sign-on (SSO) system. The SSO feature would ensure gated access to client-exclusive content while making the learning portal easily accessible.
We also developed a public portal aimed to provide a more general, programmatic education experience for those who were not StackAdapt clients. Similar to the client portal, it was crucial for the prospect portal to offer a seamless and branded experience.
Overall, StackAdapt sought a partner that could integrate smoothly into our tech ecosystem, ensuring a cohesive brand experience for users across both portals.
➜ Solutions
To fully round out our education offering, StackAdapt leverages a range of key features, including two dedicated domains (academy.stackadapt.com and learn.stackadapt.com) to serve both user subsets, SSO and Salesforce integrations, and Skilljar's advanced analytics for granular reporting.
Additionally, we provide structured learning paths to guide student learning and index content, certification opportunities for VILT sessions in combination with a webinar platform, and utilize Skilljar’s AI for generating quiz material and course descriptions. Together, these capabilities enable us to accelerate e-learning content development and receive real-time performance feedback.

Since our Skilljar implementation in 2022, the StackAdapt Academy has grown significantly in the following areas:
- Annual users: 377%
- Course enrollments: 116%
- Certifications: 587%
With a lifetime program impact of:
- Over 16,000 unique active students
- More than 52,000 course enrollments
- And over 10,000 certificates granted
Across both portals, the StackAdapt Academy has published nearly 900 pieces of content since 2022.
